Space will be limited, so register TODAY! Northshore students have the opportunity to register first before it opens to the public on Thursday February 24th. Dancers from all over the Southern region will be trying to register for this event, so take advantage of registering now while registration is reserved for Northshore students only.

Kim Wolfe

 

Kim is an Atlanta native where she trained and graduated from the Northside HS of Performing Arts. She moved to L.A. when she was 18 and worked extensively in television, film, commercials and industrials. Some of her television credits include dancing with Prince on the American Music Awards, Jason Alexander on the Comedy Hall of Fame Awards, Liza Minelli on the Academy Awards, and Paula Abdul on the MTV Video Music Awards. She was also featured in the films Tank Girl and Showgirls, and national commercials for Pepsi, Nike, and Asics. During her time working in L.A., she assisted such choreographers as Marguerite Derricks and Jamie King. Kim has also choreographed for Ani Difranco, Zoe Girl, and Tammy Trent. She is now based in Birmingham where she devotes much of her time to teaching/choreographing at BDT. Kim also travels the country teaching on the faculty for West Coast Dance Explosion. Her powerful and inspirational style has made Kim one of the most sought after choreographers in the country.

Ricky Marcelino

 

RICKY comes from NYC with a spin on Contemporary Movement. Seen on FOX’s, “So You Think You Can Dance”, Season 3 gained him wide popularity and added to his audience from Master Teaching/Choreographing for West Coast Dance Explosion. He has been a part of Cedar Lake Dance in New York City, H.T Chen & Co. as well as part of the Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center Scholarship Programs. He has Guest Taught at numerous Dance Studios around the U.S. in more than 57 Cities including Canada, and still going. Ricky also assisted Emmy Award Winning Choreographer, Mia Michaels on Season 4 of “So You Think You Can Dance, as well as aided in the Development in Cirque Du Soleil’s Luxor Spectacular, “Believe”, Featuring Criss Angel with Emmy Award Winning Choreographer, Wade Robson. Ricky has recently Co-Founded Theatrical Contemporary Dance Company, “Poetry In Motion”, which Debuted in Europe October 2009. Aside of movement he also has recorded two music albums, available on iTunes, that is distributed in more than 22 countries. “Hyperactive Involvement”, and “Amateurely Honest”.

Stacy Boeddeker

 

STACY is a Master Teacher and Choreographer from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. With a wide acclaim throughout Canada and The U.S. Stacy is becoming one of the most sought after teachers in the industry. Recently forming the Dance Company, Poetry In Motion, A Contemporary Dance Movement, Stacy is bound to change the ideals of American Dance Companies herein. Other credits include Master Teaching for the ever most, CanDance Dance Convention in Toronto, Beyond Dance Dance Convention, here in the states, Assistant to Choreographer for The Shoot Dance Convention, Media Danza Dance Festival in Bari, Italy, has been a part of Evolution Dance Company under Mark Meismer, as well as performing and training in Nagsaki, Japan, and has performed and collaborated with Amy Grant, and Paula Abdul, to name a few. Her early years of dance include Guest Performing with the famous, Joffrey Ballet.
